The geographical area where Sagrada Familia is located corresponds to the Séptima Región de Chile (Seventh Region of Chile), in the Curicó Province, Municipality of Sagrada Familia.  The sector is known as Santa Ana de Peteroa.  The Santa Ana de Peteroa’s rural property in particular, covers an approximate area of 120 ha (296 acres), and it is located 30 km to the southwest of the city of Curicó.

The place is a transversal valley of the Coastal Range in the hydrographic basin of the Lontué River.  The soils in the area are fluvial in origin, with variable depth, a clayey- silty texture, good drainage and surface runoff.  These soils are moderately stony, have soft slopes and medium fertility.
